Title: IVOR CUTLER
Post by: Nico Brad on Tue, Nov 21, 2017, 18:52 PM
I only saw him perform once, but I have raised my kids in Ivor's world. Any memories or obsure releases anybody would like to share? I can't imagine where we'd be if he never did what he did!

Same with me Meic, didnít quite know what to make of it at a young age but came to fully appreciate the quality of the man as I got older

And it was only when I saw the recent Magical Mystery Tour doc that I found out that he was on the bus.

A 1975 Peel Session for you Paul.  You must have been just a bairn then.  I went to see Adam McNaughtan in Crail a couple of months ago.  What is it about Glaswegian ex teacher Poets?  I forgot to ask him if  he was a comrade of Ivor Cutlers.  Still trying to find a recording of his Tunnocks Caramel Wafer song.

It as later than that, must have been a repeat playing or some album tracks. I particularly remember Gruts for Tea
