Title: The World Cup fantasy league
Post by: a.heathen on Mon, Jun 09, 2014, 07:48 AM
Here is The "B" League
http://en.mcdonalds.fantasy.fifa.com/leagues/8006
Pass word is "gregdyke"

You can let the system choose you a random team if you wish.
Or you may wish to choose a team ONLY with scottish connections.
ie anyone who is playing against England.
And George Samaras.

I'm gonig autoselect then add in a couple of my own choices. I'm not looking forward to trying to track how my players are doing in game, given the complexity of the scoring system.

Am I being a total numpty?

I literally cannot find a clicky-link to my team I set up…anywhere.

I have a profile, readily accessible, and can link to the B league (from this page)…other than that, nada/zilch/nichts/fuck-all.

GRRRRRRRRRRRR

I guess I'll have to bookmark that shizzle.

I am an Afable Twaat, by the way. I was going for a kinda North African moniker…woulnae let me spell it with the apostrophe though.

Twa'at.

I really hope one of the teams have a dramatic blow out a la france.
can we do a sweepstake for that? or most sensational sending off - a la zidane.

After your initial link (the en.mcdonalds ane) for joining….I ended up on the Fifa.com site...which has my profile on, but no link to 'My Team'.

It's not the greatest website ever.

Anyhoo…I look forward to decimating you all with style and wit and great picks.

Presumably everyone has Neymar in their team and is their team captain, or is that just me?

Do they take points off for him being a cheating B'stard?

I don't think Neymar cheated, he only took the penalty, the Calvin Zola-playalike, Fred, did the cheating part.

I think Deegers may have been referring to Neymar's earlier flying elbow on Modric

If he'd been sent off for that it would have been almost as ridiculous as the penalty.

Maybe so.  I imagine there's a few would like to straight-arm Modric  :-X

not at all, neymar should have been
off for the elbow. if you see the replay
he's looking at luka all the way before
connecting. mick mcmanus would have
been proud of that one. still, at least
we know the world cup will be living up
to expectations on the shit refree and
cheating millionaires front.

That's maybe why Hibs got relegated, no perception of the difference between a bootable and a sending off offence
