Title: Sale of the Century
Post by: kwaing on Sun, Dec 07, 2014, 08:45 AM
I am surprisingly snowed under after that blizzard of orders last week - thank you!

I've posted out all of the SDO titles ordered through the Trading Post, I should get the PO box cheque/postal order lot packaged up and in the mail before Thursday (apart from a few vinyls that'll be despatched the week starting Dec 14th). Hope that's all okay.

LPs eh? They're becoming obsolete, apparently  ;)

Once again, thank you all very much indeed.

Hi Kenny

Tis me again. Is there any chance of getting another "3 On This Island" sent out now? If it makes things easier I could transfer money straight into your bank account (thus saving post time) Having heard it a friend wants one too, so I am hoping to get him one for Christmas.

If I am too late, then I am too late and fully understand.

Just got your DM, dunno how I missed it for a week!  Filthy lucre is winging its way to you from the arse end of Wales.

Thanks so much for my order, superbly packaged, which arrived safe and sound yesterday.

I hope you realise I'm having to relegate some of my other CDs to the upstairs spare room pile after I play them all and place with the rest! Some Jane Siberry has already gone I'm afraid......

How long do you reckon the lps will be available for? I've just noticed them bit will have to wait until the end of the month to order as I'm all spent up with It being Christmas.

Smashing. Cheers KC. I look forward to it opening again in Jan - it's also my birthday then so it gives me time to drop some hints!

Hope you have a great Christmas.

Is it true that all vinyl records have to be made outside UK?

D'you mean like Marks and Spencer's sandwiches?  They're all made in Bulgaria and deep frozen for 3 years before they go on sale.
I dont think they could do that with vinyl, I mean the boy bands would be middle aged before their records hit the shops.

I had a drunken conversation on New Year's Day with one of our friends and had a fuzzy recollection of him saying something about the best vinyl being produced in Germany or maybe it was just a dream!!!!    However, do like M&S seafood selection sandwiches and they are really quite cold when you open them so your theory could be right!   😊

Hi Kenny,

Is it possible for you to ship albums to the U.S.?  Do you currently have a paypal option?  And, finally, how can I find a list of what you have available?

Hi

owing to a severe lack of stock/staff/stamina the fence mail order department is currently closed. we hope to have a couple of new picket fence titles ready for the autumn, and there are still a few titles available from monorail in Glasgow. Hope that's of some help.
