An endless round of balls (parties and social events) / New Josh Fuchs
« Last post by kwaing on Mon, Apr 16, 2018, 15:13 PM »
At last the music blooper that was JF's picket fence has been rectified - nice one Captain Geeko - and replacement CDRs for those sold at Yellae Deuks are ready.

Josh has ordered a few pickets for his upcoming gigs, it's verging on a bonanza.

Enchanting performance by Josh Fuchs at the iconic (and remarkably 'Wetherspoon-ification' resistant) Waverley Bar on Saturday. Poignant lyrics and emotional candour further enhanced by a rather powerful delivery. Looking forward to the new picket fence!

Has he the same presence and charisma on stage as he does on this record?

Ally

Probably more. Always great live. It's a fantastic album.

Hello,

I haven’t bought music by “new” people for quite a while. But I googled this fella just a couple of weeks ago and then ordered this album.

What a doozy - music, melodies and lyrics all so fresh and wonderful.

A hint of Mountain Goats, a little Lloyd Cole, a small touch of indie pop and a whole raft of originality.

Has he the same presence and charisma on stage as he does on this record?

Ally

Well today seemed just right for staring out of the window, and letting "Cicero Had An Anchor Tattoo" wash away the troubles of city life.

That is a shame.  She and Anna work so well together.  Fanzine arrived safely.  Thanks as always and particularly for the tour diary.  Josh is looking very cool on the back page too.

Very much enjoyed the 'zine but shame about the cancellation of Mairearad's tour. She was due to play the Slaughtered Lamb tonight with Anna Massie - hopefully this can be rescheduled.

Yes!  Magazine arrived today, thanks Kenny, although hard to know if you enjoyed the tour - mind you anything after the 50 shows would be a downer. Can’t make out some of the writing on the back cover as it is filled with great stories, the free church one especially.  Looking forward to 4th May is it pay at the door?
