KC Christmas Cavalcade
« on: Thu, Dec 03, 2015, 13:21 PM »
I'll be on appearing on this :- http://www.bbc.co.uk/showsandtours/shows/the_quay_sessions_16dec15

And then in the East Neuk Hotel, Crail, on Sunday 20th December, we'll celebrate the birth of Jesus that took place in Nazareth 2015 years ago by all accounts.

Was going to this but have been laid low with a chest infection.

Tickets passed on to a good home and shall have to catch it on iPlayer instead.

*Luckily, I've seen this same set played at least three times beforezzzzzzzzzzz  :P

I wasn't lucky enough to get tickets in the ballot, if there are any spares I'd be happy to take them off your hands.

This airs on BBC Radio Scotland at 8pm on Xmas Day (available on the iPlayer shortly after).  Did anyone on here make it along and, if so, how was it?

Aye, and it was a great evening. The show was filmed too, and will be up on the Quay Sessions part of the BBC website soon.
3 songs from KC (one with a string quartet) and an interview. A bit special and rather lovely.Forget about Doctor Who and the Queen- plan your Christmas Day around this.
You won't be disappointed!

What's happening here - he was clean shaven with short hair only a week ago.  It's a miracle!

A fabulous night in the East Neuk last night, top scran, a good quiz and a great set by the full KC band. I started noting the setlist but ended up dancing and forgetting to take notes so if you check back The Bot's fantasy set from a few weeks ago you're not far off the mark.

Only downside was the table from Crail Pottery cackling loudly through KC's beautiful rendition of O Holy Night. I'm on a day off today so may head down there and scream at the top of my voice for a few minutes whilst they are making a jug, see how they fucking like it.

The cops arrived to listen to hear the Happy Song. Franz, I spoke to them before we drove off, they said that whilst hte sound bounces around the square behind the hotel they didn't think it sounded loud enough to be an issue.

Cheers to all for putting on a great night.

Merry Christmas to all Hubbers.
