Today is one of those 'post Fence/AETC comedown days', difficult to pick up the ball again after another fantastic weekend. Great to hear so many songs that I'd barely or never heard live before, particularly Casino Clubbing. Despite what some reporters may say, 3 completely different sets, no song played twice.

On top of all that a great set from Pip on Saturday, the car song was brilliant and the duet on Lavender Moon sublime, and 2 great sets from Hamish, the acoustic set on Friday and a great full band set yesterday.

Thanks to everyone involved in making it such a fantastic weekend.

Finally, I hope KC has a better year in 2016 than he appeared to have in 1996.

"You are could I?"

Remembering the names of songs is a skill my brain simply chooses not to engage with. So when this was introduced a part of my brain was all like, well I know that name, I wonder how it goes?

So when my ears engaged with my brain and Kwaing engaged his vocals I thought "It goes bloody good that's how it goes!"

Real treat to hear it live and the whole night live.

And a real treat to be in the Neuk as always.

Cheers you big bunch of idiots# !!!

What a great weekend! Thanks to Kenny, Andy, and Gordon for three special shows, and to Pip and HJH for their sets- so good.

And for any journalists reading this, it was, in only one way , "the same each night"- ie loads of terrific songs , all beautifully sung and played.

Just terrific-thanks to all.

Yes I know how you feel, came home yesterday on a downer only to find central heating not working so had to resort to comfort food and made some macaroni with loads of cheese sauce.  That did cheer me up as did thinking of KC swimming in Turkey although he never let us see his tattoo!   Unlike Vic Galloway whose parents must have encouraged him to have some done.

Roll on Easter!

Oh no Helensburgh first, now that does sound interesting but I will give that sweetened tea a miss  :P

What a lovely afternoon, the sun was shining for our trip to Helensburgh, excellent set from Kenny, Ian Rankin was fun to listen to and the samosas were delicious, good company made it an even better afternoon.  Roll on the deuks!

Thirds, could have listened to Ian Rankin for much longer. KC sounded amazing. Didn't stay for the film as I wanted to get back before midnight. Nice to see the Lavinias and Jonmac, if briefly prior to the gig, made it feel like home.
