Hi, 'fraid the Fruitmarket tickets offered above have now been nabbed and have a gone to a good home although I do hope KC repeats the Queen's Hall covering of "Shake It Off" otherwise I could be done under false advertising!

I have two tickets for the show at Glasgow's Old Fruitmarket on Friday 27th that I can't use. On offer at face value (21 each), I'm located in Blairgowrie, collection will be from there, I could possibly drop them off in Dundee or Perth and I will be in Glasgow on Tuesday afternoon so possibly could arrange something then. Failing that I can send them via Royal Mail 'Guaranteed Next Day Delivery' for an additional 6.45. Message me if interested.

A lovely night at a packed Barbican, KC Orchestra on top form, great to hear Faux Call live for the first time with a full band and some impressive moves from KC & Hannah. Spotted the diminutive Toby Jones in the crowd, didn't get a chance to ask if the Dectectorists would be coming back for a 3rd series.

Roll on the Fruitmarket.

Agreed, brilliant show. I didn't spot any celebs however. I think it was Lidh on the ol' pipes - absolutely amazing hearing them live. The bassline in You Just Want also brilliant live. I maintain that riff in the bassline is the greatest bassline in recorded history. Bar none. (even beating the tubular bells side A bass line, which for me is a very high bar!)

Thought Modern Studies were brilliant too, great choice there from Kenny. I've long been a fan of Emily Scott, but hadn't seen them in full band mode before.

Went to the show at the Sage last night and it was fabulous.

Modern Studies offered great support, playing the album right now.  KC and band sounded amazing, particularly with the addition of the bagpipes and we were treated to a stunning version of Admiral, Hannah's voice blending beautifully with Kenny's.  It was a beautiful show in a stunning setting - The Sage on the banks of the Tyne is well worth a visit.
Thanks all for a lovely evening x
Greetings From Hamilton next up on my playlist - that's my Christmas money spent!

Heard you were on the stage dancing - dead jealous, especially if it was to surface!  Glasgow was fab tonight managed to get right to the front and had a dance as usual, is it me or are there less and less people willing to have a wee dance these days?

The bagpipes sounded amazing at the Barbican so very pleased to discover that Mairearad Green will be playing with Anna Massie at the Green Note in Camden (best venue in London) on 13 April... https://www.wegottickets.com/greennote/event/376520

Mairearad and Anna together are always amazing live.  Do everything you can to catch the Camden gig or any others on their tour because you won't be able to keep your feet still.

Hello, my first ever post on the pages of the forum. I'm fairly new to KC as I stumbled across the From Scotland with Love film when it aired on the BBC and automatically fell in love with the soundtrack. I was chuffed that even in my mid 40s I'd found something 'new'. Therefore the only chance to catch Kenny live since then was his recent gig in Norwich towards the end of January and having booked my ticket the day they were released i was like a kid waiting for Christmas! I managed to grab a good seat and settled in for the night....the wait was well worth it and although I knew the new tracks I'll admit to not knowing the ones played towards the end...although Star of Hope was definitely one. Even though I was 80 down after buying up stuff from the merchandise stand it was a cracking night despite being up since 5am for work. Hopefully it won't be too long until KCs next venture to Norwich. Anyway that's my first post done...ta x
PS....if anyone knows the set list from Norwich I'd appreciate it.

Welcome to the Hub Cawseetiger.  I'm sure it was 80 well spent at the merch stall.
