What a great afternoon we had yesterday, great brunch, then Kenny in excellent form sang all of Rain Weekend and Greetings from Hamilton Canada, giving us an insight into the background behind every song.
How fantastic - any particularly memorable background stories?

Impossible To Resist was yesterday's stand out tune for me.
Our friends from Edinburgh came up with their 14 year old daughter who is learning to sing, she loved KC s voice. High praise indeed😃

Liked the story about getting lost in a maze he was in there for hours song is calledk Crazy Paving said that was James Yorkstons favourite song although James has yet to confirm that.

Is it too much to ask for KC to make his own version of this?

What a great night number 4 was! Kenny performed covers of other Fence performers so we were treated to Lone Pigeon, Gummi Bako, Pip Dylan and HMS Ginafore songs. As usual the stories were hilarious particularly liked the one about Kenny having his wallet pickpocketed and Stephen taking the guys glasses off and demanding he gave the wallet back.  This of course happened in America and it was a huge black guy he stood up too.  They both of course were very drunk at the time because no one in their right mind would have attempted to do such a crazy thing and they got the wallet back minus money and recipes.  The guy got his squashed up glasses back too!
Super hero Stephen!

Agreed. Must have been the Malibu!  Wonderful night.  Shame about the Sound Police and 'er next door making mischief again but KC turned it round with a brilliant adaptation of Vagabond to retaliate.  Met some lovely people who will hopefully be joining the hub soon.

For any hubbers who couldn't make it the excellent #4, here's a dropbox download link for photos from the night.  They'll be up for the weekend and then they'll be back down again so get them while they're hot.

Great afternoon and the stories were fantastic as usual, Kennys dad receiving a Llama as a present was priceless!  Thanks KC for another fun afternoon.

I think we're going to try and bring our Easter holiday a day earlier to make it to this one. I wondered if anyone could advise how early we might need to get there for a seat, or to get in even? Just to help us plan our travels.

Also - simply out of curiosity - are the evening shows taking the same 2 album format as the weekends, or is it completely different?

Ah, thanks Lavinia. Will work backwards from there and try to figure out when we'll need to leave the house.
