Landlord should have evicted her ages ago!  I pity her new neighbours as she will cause trouble where ever she goes I am sure!

21 was well attended this afternoon, although some folk were nursing hangovers.  Kenny was on the cocktails with Des accompanying him, he even threw in a few requests at the end for some folk who had travelled quite a distance to come and see him. What a great way to end the weekend.

22 the last covers night, as in the New Year it's new rules.

We were treated to a very organised set with Des, Geko and Kenny spreading themselves out a bit more. First half was covers of Gummys  set at Neepso so we had a bit of Dolly, Bowie and Jesus knows ( or Kennys Nose) second half Bealtes songs it was another great show which was well attended although there were some women who were out for a blether rather than a listen in the corner.
Now for the 23 shows in December can't make them all but since they are all the same no need to tell you all what is being played.

Devastated to not being able to make it to Crail last night.  Ian told me about the Beatles covers when I saw him this morning.  What a way to finish this leg of The 50.  Is it possible to deliver Psalm Clerk in 23 ways?.....Oh Yes.  There's the Disco version!  The Salsa Remix! The Dave Clerk Five!...... Boom Bang a Kwaing!  The Psalm lies down on Broadway! Hunting High and Creosote! Jesus and Mary Clerk with Geeko just on one snare!  Bring it on.  You may be crazy Kwaing but we're just as crazy to support you any way we can!

Can I borrow folk's attendance cards please?  I'll scan and return them to owners ASAP.
Not sure what I'm going to use them for as yet - but may include them in a 'KC-50' compilation/s so please only lend them out if you're happy to have them reproduced  ;)

I'll be in attendance at #47 & #48 if you want to bring them along then  :)

Thanks in advance.

Myself and young Harris will be at 47 this sunday and I will probably be at 49. I am also looking to improve on my current KC catalogue of albums (amateur at best) and would be delighted if sales were available.

Happy New year

Cheers

Will try and remember mine on Sunday, although it's a little book not a card.

Gig 47 was just a lovely afternoon with Kenny on his box, Andy playing guitar and drums it was just a treat.  Lots of great tunes he even gave us some Burns Unit songs, a bit of Cher and that new one Blue Marble which is really catchy. Dan Wilson withered hand was there and he sang a few numbers, it was just magic.  Kenny even had some merchandise for sale at the end you just got to watch those hand sprayed CDs they can be difficult to eject out of the car CD player.  :o

You're a brave soul, Lavinia; I wouldn't trust a car cd with one of the hand painted cdr's - you might never get it back !! Other than that, no. 47 sounds ace  :D :D

It was just too difficult to resist!  Looks like we will be playing it forever!  Could be the dearest CD we’ve bought.
