If Canada was the size of Mull this would be a good one for the winnebago.

Love to travel to the gig with Norman but have to make do with one night only in Montreal.
Took a bit of hunting to order tix online so thought I would share this -

Our good friend Kirk Macgeachy (Pittenweem and Montreal) sadly passed away 11 years ago this week. Can you give him a mention at Quai des Brumes show?

Reporting back on Montreal gig, Loved it ... you folks in the UK are so lucky to be able to see him when ever you want.  Lively crowd and nice old pub venue. So carried away not sure what the setlist was - but every tune was a good one. They did sound check with Surface, the pub drinkers were very appreciative.. loved the synth bass.

Next time Scotland.

Thanks KC & MJ

billows roll
supermoon
when i was a thief
cargill
since we've fallen out
will you wait for me?
not one bit ashamed
all of this in writing
love life
the years we've never known
miserable strangers
surface
round and round

(and in the doorway - dial c)

Sounds great wish I had been there.

Just re-read the setlist - I told carol we should have waited - looks like we missed a tune - Dial C - in the doorway - Montreal metro schedule made us move...

By an amazing stroke of luck my holiday in Canada was timed nicely. I was able to get to the early gig at Burdock in Toronto. Nice small venue, certainly very different to the last KC gig I went to at Liverpool Philharmonic.

Great set that looks similar to the one in Montreal. Band were bemused by Kenny kicking into Cargill for the second song as he seemed to have his own personal set list to the rest of the band. The band were excellent and put together great arrangements of the songs. Touching to see Michael dancing with his children in the front row. The recreation of the previous night's fire alarm was spectacular too.

Great to have had a chat with both Kenny and Michael after the gig. Just disappointed that I could not hang around for the late show just as the piano accordion arrived.
