Here's the brilliant video for Boards of Canada remix of Sometimes, if this doesn't make you want to buy it, you've no taste, or soul, or maybe money.

good review on bleep big man.  well done!

Quote
The Sexual Objects' jangly indie jam Sometimes gets a stunning reworking by Boards Of Canada, following on from the mythical duo's flooring remixes of Odd Nosdam and The Nevermen both in 2016 and their last full-length Tomorrow's Harvest four years ago.
While the original track rattles with all the skinny jeaned flare of an indie group going country, the remixes here are sure to carry the track onto the record shelves and homes of many heads who may otherwise not be inclined to check it. First up on the remix treatment is the guvnor Andrew Weatherall with a decidedly indie going acid (house that is, not psych!) dub mix that calls to mind his eternal classic reworkings of the Mondays and Primal Scream.
The real gold here though is of course Boards Of Canada's version, a sort of sunrise awakening of choral pads that stretch out across an almost Emerald Web style new age valley of birds. Slowly coming into view across the first minute and a half, the original piece's piano notes start to carry the weight, before the sun fully breaks out with the drums pushing the track forward, deep into a prog rock dreamlike flourish that's equal parts Eno Another Green World and equal parts Hell Interface.
Stunning stuff as always from the duo of Marcus Eoin and Michael Sandison.

And by the way, the Weatherall mix via band camp is clipped at around 3.00 mins, short 5 mins in case anyone complains..... ;)
