Holger Czukay is no more... Sad day. Raising a glass towards Weilerswist.

That's a shame.  I was at one of his gigs with Can and he played bass wearing mittens!

On the Way to the Peak of Normal is a great album.

Great musician - so soon after Jaki's death too. "Bassist with Can" headline hardly does him justice!

I couldn't agree more, worked with people as varied as Stockhausen and Jah Wobble. A soft spoken sonic innovator.

Not long after U-She either - he seemed quite frail the last time I saw him interviewed.

I saw all of the two classic line ups but many years apart - Liebezeit/Karoli/Schmidt/Czukay in 1974 then I added Malcolm Mooney with the Can Project at the Barbican earlier this year, finally managing to shake Damos hand at one of his recent Network gigs in Leicester.

I think maybe Rob Young should put a halt to the book - since he started two of the founder members have passed  :(

There must be so much material available that hasn't been issued - I think the track listing will be disappointing for most of those who have followed his work closely.

Movies is still one of my favorite albums of all time.

I had hoped for more unrealeased material than, but still I reckon I'll give it a shot. And yes Hallav, Movies is a stunner!
