I've just started reading Memphis 68 The Tragedy of Southern Soul by Stuart Cosgrove. Book 2 of his trilogy. As interesting as the first one so far.

I enjoyed it but preferred the first one, I thought this one was a bit more dis-jointed. Looking forward to volume 3 though.

Having had a wonderful day in the studio on drums and guitars with two of our grandchildren our chosen book at bedtime was Roger Hargreaves' Mr Noisy The Musician.

Any hubbers got a favourite Miss or Mr?

Just enjoyed a run of Murakami,  Sputnik Sweetheart, Norwegian Wood, After the Quake, Wind up Bird Chronicles, Kafka on the Shore.  all very good.

I'm reading Going for a Song. Garth Cartwright's chronicle of UK record shops. Worth a read.
