Rip It Up - The Story of Scottish Pop
« on: Thu, May 31, 2018, 22:24 PM »
This looks like it will be worth a visit -

https://www.nms.ac.uk/national-museum-of-scotland/whats-on/rip-it-up/

According to the new copy of The Skinny there will be a three part TV series and Vic Galloway has written a book which will accompany the exhibition. He will also present a four part series on Radio Scotland. I wonder if there will be anything Fence related at the exhibition ?

Why would you hope not, it would be a bit of a gap in recent Scottish music history if there was nothing?

I'm hoping to get along on Saturday morning.

I visited on Saturday and absolutely loved every bit of it.

A great wee KC exhibit in there, without giving anything away.

Well worth the tenner

I saw the exhibition today and loved it. So many fascinating things to see, some great memories. The Fence stuff was a treat. I'll say no more. Get yourselves along.

Well worth a visit thourghly enjoyed it and you get a code to get 3 off tickets to the gigs on the shore, plus because we went to the Rip it up festival and kept our tickets they got you in half price. So now going to see KC and Karine Polwart in August.
