Dying's just not for me
« on: Sun, Apr 07, 2019, 11:22 AM »
Somebody put this song on YouTube. Don't know the title but it has the lyrics "dying's just not for me..." .

Never heard it before and I love it.  Does anyone know if it's on an album.

Thanks for posting this - great new song and a very different perspective on the inevitable from the quite differently brilliant and powerful "Where I'm Going," the first track on Your Henchmen. KC played "Dying's Just Not For Me" on Old Jock Radio last month and said it didn't yet have a name. He also played Pauper's Dough, Give It Up by Talk Talk and - if I remember correctly - Doubles Underneath. Sadly the show hasn't yet appeared here: https://oldjockradio.weebly.com/listen-again.html

I believe the recording was lost due to a technical hiccup. Shame, as I couldn't listen live

Here, loving that song. I wonder what kind of treatment it will get on record?

September's band version recorded at An Tobar is nearly primed to go through the Des Lawson/onthefly/Lomond Campbell Mangle. Quite the mouthful, I can do better ...

The Des Lotflombell Mangle.

Lovely stuff.

It's what I call one of KC's "yearny" songs, which are invariably my favourites!  :)

This "song about funerals" appears on the Midsummer KK1J cassette but doesn't yet have a name.
