KY-40

Hello.
So a couple of nights ago I was watching a programme about how Barbour make their wax jackets. During the show they also had a bit of a history lesson about how they came about from sailors who used old sails to make raincoats.
Now this item seemed to be shot in cellerdyke/pittenweem area and it was on an old boat with the number KY-40.
Is there a link to KY-10?

All boats registered out here in NE Fife get a KY (or Kirkcaldy) registration number, but KY10 is the local postcode area (also Kirkcaldy) so I suppose the short answer would be “Kirkcaldy”.
