Aw, they are ace ain't they?

I do like to rewrite pop songs, of an occasion, and them Beasties' Intergalactic tied in nicely with a Fatberg exhibiton my museum stuck on a couple o' years ago. Took me a few weeks to write it...here is the unofficial video we made as a backdrop to a live performance we did not long after. (Excuse the odd subtitle mistake, it wasnae me)

The videos made at the Barbican were recorded for a live performance at a Museums ShowOff show, which was a fudging blast to do...some terrible luvvie acting by me in there, but it was the hing as was required at the time (paging Brian Sewell in a terrible hat):

He should be 56 now - gone too soon. Turns out that the history books aren't so full of people with summer birthdays. Apparently, many of our leaders and sporting greats were born in the autumn. I was a bit disappointed growing up that the only well-known person I shared a birthday with was Neil Armstrong. He may have been the first man on the moon, but was also a bit of a grump. Then I discovered the Beastie Boys and read in a poster magazine that the most thoughtful one, MCA, was born on 5 August. Oh, happy day!
