One half of BuoyGull has just recorded 10 new tracks to be released August 2020 as a set of 12” singles, each with a limited art print. We think. The collection is called “Hearth” and in the foreground, middle distance and far off you’ll hear some excellent yet understated playing of piano, accordion and pipes. In the background, middle distance and right up close you’ll hear an intriguing mix of synths, beats, ambience and off mic crackles, never getting in the way of some swoonsome singing though, and still allowing for a lot of air. Only 2 of the 10 seem to have a firm foothold in earlier recordings, the other 8 have leapt forward, up, out and if possible, further north and west.

It is so uplifting a listen that the other half of BuoyGull has played the entire set more than half a dozen times this past 30 odd hours, growing ‘green’er with envy over each play.

Do keep your ears tuned for the odd radio play, keep your eyes peeled for write ups and “on sale now” notifications.

In these difficult times, would it be possible to know the minimum and pay more than this in advance, if one so wants to...you know to assist cash flow and that sort of thing.

Great to see some activity in the garden, it's the right time of year for it.

Hearth is - sorry lockdown excitement got the better of me and I didn't read it properly the first time. I have gig withdrawal symptoms.

Finally got the time to listen to these back-to-back this morning. As described by Kwaing, a beautiful collection both aurally and visually. If you've managed to put aside a bit of cash by not going to gigs. buying merch etc. I thoroughly recommend getting these before they are gone.

Hard to argue with AETC and czefski about this...it's a stunning (if pricey) set o' wax.

Worth it alone jist for The Kelp Makers, whit a track...like a Fence/Jon Hopkins smoothie, if that makes ony sense.

Looking forward to the third Buoy Gull 7", whenever it appears...these ten tracks will keep me going fir a while though.
