Unfortunately we're not going to be able to make it up to this now - bit of a family emergency going on so we'll be down in Liverpool now.  Hope it all goes great and really pleased to see the halls open again!

Sorry to hear that. Warm well wishes to your folks! x

What a cracking night, the halls are fantastic, an amazing piece of work by all involved, especially given the disrepair they were in. The KC quartet started bang on at 8 and played all night, interspersed by the excitement of the postcard auction. Then off to the Dreel for a few more drinks in the fine company of Kwaing and Geebee, finally walking the dogs to Sedgejetski and Knitnurse's where more unnecessary booze was consumed.

If you were wondering who won this little beauty

IT WAS ME!!!!!!!!!!!

It's beautiful, I thought it was a drawing but it's a collage, an incredible amount of work has gone into it, I couldn't be happier to be the proud owner of it, an early birthday present. Cheers Kwaing and cheers Gummi, Mama and Papa Casino et al for the hard work on the halls and for organising a great night.

Congratulations, that is really nice. I didn't make it and have only just made it up, think work might be taking its toll...

Sounds like a great night ! The postcard looks ace. I hope plenty of funds were raised by the auction.

[img]Had a fine time at the Dreel Halls and a few beers later at the Dreel Tavern.  Music was great as ever and the auction was very entertaining.  Gummi deserves a job at the cattle market auctioning heffers.  Had to head back to Crail on foot about 1pm ish and was advised by Chris ( big guy, long hair. Looks like Jesus, sings like Paul Rodgers?)  to take the coastal path, there being a full moon and all, so I did that.  Very atmospheric for the first half and then a total quagmire.  Slithered into the glaur repeatedly and at one point only my right fist was sticking out above the bog I'd sunk into, clutching the postcard below.  Got home 2.30 tired but happy and covered with brown slime.  Rerr wee night.

Tried to attatch here  a photo of the postcard by Graham P Manley but cant get it to work.  Great postcard!
